Project management is one of the most important factors of a good project as it lays out calculations, costings, time scales, when different trades will be working on site and when materials will need to be delivered. When it comes to large projects, if one aspect of the management plan is delayed, it usually affects every other part of the schedule.

Unfortunately, project management is an element which often goes wrong in building works because project managers either have inadequate training, or they do not plan for issues which may arise during the work being carried out, which almost always occurs at some point; especially with large scale projects.

Due to the importance of getting the project management right first time, Interior Concepts is dedicated to creating a realistic and focused plan which sees all our customer’s aims come to fruition in a stress-free, seamless way. Our expert project managers are well adept at detailed comprehensive plans which incorporate every stage of the project we take on.

We prides ourselves in offering a full project management servicefor any size project and budget because it’s important to us that we give all our clients total support. On and off site, we are with our clients every step of the way. We recognise that a commercial refurbishment can sometimes be a massive step in a business’ growth or restructure and we want to maximise the value of that investment for our clients. Part of achieving this is doing it through great project management.

At the initial concept stage of a project, we sit with our clients and ensure that we listen carefully to the requirements, style preferences and practical needs. As we listen, we fully assess their exact list of criteria while gaining a firm understanding of the bigger picture and seeing the result they want to achieve at the end of the project. By immersing ourselves in our client’s situation, we can combine their vision with our expertise to produce an initial office interior design that works.

Once an initial design is in place, we visit our customer again to talk about budget. This is an incredibly important and necessary part of the process and will determine what can and cannot be achieved on the project. Our vast product and contracting knowledge allows us to commit to a fit-out cost at this stage, which gives our clients total transparency before proceeding.  We then make any changes to the design which our customer wants to incorporate, be that due to the costings or due to a change in mind.

Once we have agreed a budget to work to with our client, we begin by submitting any planning permission forms or requirements to make sure we operate to their regulations and standards from the very start. After this part of the plan, we begin work on your property, where we take full responsibility for the fit-out. This includes project management, office relocation if required, construction works, furniture, installations and all other elements of the refurbishment.
