Our extensive range of shallow storage units provide simple and effective storage solutions for any educational environment. They are perfect for the classroom with all our standard units able to accommodate shallow, deep and jumbo trays with our multiple tray runner system. All our storage units can be supplied with or without trays, are fully assembled and comply with BS5873.
The shallow tray units are a standard 1040mm wide x 500mm deep x 810mm high, each supplied with castors offering mobile or static options. All the tray unit back panels are manufactured from 12mm thick wooden panels, adding strength and protection in a sometimes tough educational environment. The shallow tray units also comprise 2mm PVC edge protection manufactured in a beech finish.
The shallow tray units are UK manufactured and are available in a number of options starting with a standard 6-tray configuration, right up to a 48-tray configuration. The trays are available in a range of different colours including, blue, red, green, yellow, purple, sea spray, lava, pistachio and of course clear.
These shallow tray units are therefore ideal for the classroom where a standard class size of around 24 students can each have two trays for their personal belongings. This helps to keep the classroom tidy and helps stop the junior students from mixing their pen and pencils up. Since the shallow tray units are also on castors, they can be pushed around to suit the tasks being carried out within the classroom. It also allows the teacher to push the shallow storage units aside when the students are working to stop them playing with the draws!
